ChefSathi is a product operated by HealthDarpan.ai Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"). This policy describes how we handle personal information when you visit our website, create a business account, connect WhatsApp through Meta, or use features made available through ChefSathi.

2. Information we collect
- Account and business data: name, email, phone number, business name, timezone, team members, and onboarding choices you provide.
- Customer and order data: order details, menu choices, delivery preferences, balances, invoices, and payment status processed on behalf of the food business using ChefSathi.
- WhatsApp and Meta data: when a business connects WhatsApp, we receive identifiers and tokens needed to operate messaging (for example WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, display number, and message metadata). Message content is processed to provide ordering and operations features for that business.
- Technical data: device/browser type, IP address, cookies or similar identifiers, and security logs used to operate and protect the service.
- Payment data: payment references and status from payment providers (for example Razorpay). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve ChefSathi for registered businesses.
- Run onboarding, WhatsApp connection, catalog, orders, billing, and reporting.
- Authenticate users, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot incidents.
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
- Communicate about the service, support, and important product changes.
4. Meta and WhatsApp
When you use Meta's Facebook Login for Business or WhatsApp Embedded Signup, Meta processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive only what is necessary to connect and operate your business WhatsApp channel on ChefSathi. You can review Meta's policies at Meta Privacy Policy.
5. Sharing
We may share information with:
- Infrastructure and hosting providers (for example cloud hosting) under contractual safeguards.
- Meta / WhatsApp when required to deliver connected messaging features.
- Payment processors when you enable online payments.
- Professional advisers or authorities when required by law.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Businesses may request deletion of tenant data subject to legal or operational requirements (for example completed transaction records).
7. Your choices and data deletion
Depending on your role, you may access, correct, or delete certain information through your workspace or by contacting us.
To request deletion of personal data associated with a ChefSathi business account or to disconnect WhatsApp, email hello@chefsathi.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include your business name and registered phone or email. We will verify the request and respond within a reasonable period.
End customers of a food business should contact that business first; the business controls customer order data in its tenant.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. International transfers
Our service may process data in India and in countries where our subprocessors operate. We take steps to protect information consistent with this policy and applicable law.
10. Children
ChefSathi is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above.
